May

Our guest speaker was Investigative Journalist and retired
Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Carmen Reynolds. Carmen Reynolds is the
Editor-in-Chief for www.boogai.net, a legislative advocacy site. She is a
frequent guest speaker in the community for her expertise on immigration,
international treaties, state sovereignty, Shariah law, malpractice in
journalism, politics, healthcare advocacy and community activism. She spoke
on "Combating Radical Islam's Spread".
April

The guest speaker was Walton County Sheriff
Mike Adkinson. He spoke about the "Current State of Affairs in the County
and Florida Penal Systems and What the Future May Hold".
March

Our guest speaker was retired USAR Colonel
Mike McCalister. The Colonel is running for the US Senate seat for the state
of Florida in 2012, currently held by Democratic Senator Bill Nelson.
Colonel McCalister discussed his platform and objectives for the future of
Florida and this country. Colonel McCalister is also a Ph.D. and is
currently on the staff of Everglades University in Sarasota where he teaches
graduate business courses. This was a vital meeting as this is the first
candidate running for this very important office to speak to us this year.

Our speaker was Representative Matt Gaetz
representing District 4 in the Florida House. He spoke about the "Upcoming
Florida Legislature".
2010 PROGRAMS
December

Our guest speaker was Dr. Cheri C. Dunn. Her
topic will be "Debunking the Myths of Dieting and Nutrition".
November

We were pleased to have Roger Hall, President
of Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast speak on the future of Sacred
Heart and healthcare.
October

We were pleased to have Steve Southerland,
running for U.S. House of Representatives, District 2, against incumbent
Democrat Allen Boyd, as our guest speaker.

Our October 20th meeting was expanded to
include Congressman Jeff Miller to the program. Congressman Miller spoke on
the current issues in Washington. He represents Florida's 1st congressional
district. His district includes all of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa,
Walton, Holmes, and Washington Counties.
September

The guest speaker was Minister Patricia
Warner. Among many accomplishments, Minister Warner is the State Chaplain
for the Florida Federated Republican Women.
She spoke about "Religion and it's Role in the Founding of our Country."
July

The program will consisted of Republican
candidates to have a final opportunity to speak before our group before the
election. We had a Q&A afterwards.
