About Us
Walton Republican Women Federated is a grassroots organization of women in Walton County who come together to support Republican ideals through political education, civic involvement, and active support for Republican candidates. Founded in 2008, our club provides a welcoming place to stay informed, hear from engaging speakers, and connect with other women who care about the direction of our community, our state, and our country. Through meetings, volunteer efforts, and outreach, we work to encourage informed participation in the political process while building lasting friendships and strengthening the conservative voice across Walton County.

Walton Republican Women Federated (WRWF) had their first organizational meeting at the Santa Rosa Beach Club, which is now the Vue, in April of 2008. Local Republican women were testing the waters to see if there was enough interest in the area to form a Republican Women’s Group. Six attended that first meeting. By May 21, 2008 the interest had grown to twelve. Officers were elected, bylaws were written and a bank account was established. The club application was submitted to the state FFRW on June 5, 2008. On June 19th, 2008 the National organization granted our charter with a charter date of June 6, 2008. The charter members included: Charlotte Flynt, President, Patricia Magee, Vice President, Sylvia Steward, Secretary, Anna Weeks, Treasurer. Other founding members included, Margaret Crozier, Annette Hallman, Betty Henry, Kelly O’Keefe, Vivian O’Keefe, Diana Rowe, Barbara Sullivan, and Christine Sumpter.
